Funerals From Page B8 removed to Clark S. Brown & Sons Funeral Home. She was a faithful member of Benbow Chapel AME Zion Church, where she served faithfully and actively in the Missionary society. Surviving relatives are one daughter, Mrs. Almeta M. Stone; one son-in-law, Mr. Walter L. Stone of Tobaccoville; two grandsons, Mr. Edward Stone, Mr. Leon Crosby; several cousins and other relatives and friends. Clark S. Brown Sons Funeral Home in charge of services. Mr. Frank Wise Davis Funeral services for Mr. Frank Wise Davis, of 1411 E. 14th St., were conducted Feb. 27th at 2:00 pm at Shiloh Baptist Church with Dr. J. Ray Butler officiating. Interment followed in the Evergreen Cemetery. Surviving relatives are his wife, Mrs. Bernice B. Davis, of the home; two foster daughters, Miss Karen D. Lash and Miss Dianne Lash of the home; one foster son, Mr. Fred Lash of the home and other relatives and friends. Hooper Funeral Directors were in charge of services^ Mr. Frank Allen Cuthrell Mr. Frank Allen Cuthrell, of 512 Hemingway St., died Feb. 28th, at Forsyth Memorial Hospital. He was a native of this city and a faithful member of United Metropolitan Baptist Church. He was employed at the Old Town Club and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Surviving relatives are his wife, Mrs. Sallie R. Funeral services were conducted March 3rd at 4:00 pm at United Metropolitan Baptist Church, with Rev. Moses Small officiating. Interment followed in the Evergreen "Cemetery. She was a native of Davy, West Virginia and lived in this city for several years. Surviving relatives are two daughters, Mrs. Mary McMillan and Mrs. Delores Estees both of this city; one son, Mr. Bobby Evans of this city; twelve grandchildren; four great-grandchildren, one sister Mrs. Silvia Shade of - this city and other relatives and friends. Funeral services were conducted March 4th at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of the Hooper Funeral Home, with Elder Joseph Lowery officiating. She was a native*of Andereen, S.C. and lived in this city for the past fifty years. She was of the Baptist faith and was a retired employee of R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Co. Surviving relatives are two sisters, Mrs. Ephonia Smith and Mrs. Lavonia Hairston both of the city; eight grand; children; thirteen great-grandchildren and other relatives. He was a native of Alexandna, Va. and had lived in this city for the past fifteen years. He was a retired employee of R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Co. and was of the Baptist faith. Mack Scholarship Fund Service, with the Rev. C.G. Newsome, professor at the Duke University Divinty School in Durham, as the guest speaker. All contributions will go toward the scholarship fund.
