This is the third consecutive year that Seven-Up has sponsored the event,whose master of ceremonies was Robert Vaughn, (right) athletic director of Elizabeth City State University and a member of the CIAA Tournament Committee. McGirt, Roland Miles, William Henry Robinson (posthumously) and John Lyman Whitehead (posthumously).
