Adults over 60 may now obtain the services of a
lawyer through the Forsyth County Lawyer Referral
Service for Older Adults. To obtain referral to a
lawyer, call Contact at 722-5153. Consultation fees
will be no more than $20. Services and fees beyond
the first consultation will be determined by the client
and the lawyer. The service is a cooperative effort of
the Forsyth Council for Older Adults, the Forsyth
x Countv Young Lawyers Association and Contact.

Beginning April 2, the Forsyth County Health
Department will extend clinic hours for sexually
transmitted diseases. Staff will see patients on Mondays
and Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. On
Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays, the clinic will
open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The clinic is located on
the first floor of the Reynolds Health Center
Building at 741 Highland Ave. Patients will be cared
for by a qualified medical staff and a public health
investigator.
Homebound? You can become a volunteer and do
your work from your home. It will bright to you
and also picked up upon completion. Many social
service agencies want your help in telephoning, addressing
envelopes, stamping cards, sewing, knitting,
etc. If you are over 60, you can stay active at home.
