And no wonder, for strawberries are luscious to eat, and the plump, red berries are a feast for the eye. Strawberry tarts are perfect for brunches, buffets, or party service as they can be created in the quantity needed, and are convenient for guests to eat. The fruit is superb in combination with cream cheese or chocolate. "queen of desserts." A wonderful idea for a Mother's Day brunch or any special occasion. "Many H V v North Carolinaians, H perhaps overwhelmed by H the pmplexities of estate H planning, simply ignore the .H f \ problems and hope it will B \ go away," says Nathan B Garren, extension B C?rp#ratiM Parkway economist, North Carolina State University. B _ But unless an estate plan B is developed, it is entirely B f ( Q/tl possible that your property B ^ V will be divided among sur- B viving family members con- B Vhrayi trary to your wishes. This is because the state provides a B "will" for you if your don't write one yourself. B (^Rf" "When a person dies B without a will, any property B \ is divided among surviving heirs according to the rigid specifications of the North B Carolina Intestate Suscession Laws. Only property such as insurance policies B with designated B beneficiaries and property owned jointly with sur- I vivorship rights are not affected by these laws," Garren says.
