J.R. Samuels officiating. Surviving relatives are her mother, Mrs. Mary Meadows Williams; her father, Mr. Charlie Mack Williams; one son, Roderick Witherspoon of the home; two sisters, Miss Carolyn Williams and Mrs. Cynthia Nivens; her maternal grandmother, Mrs. Julia Meadows; one aunt anrl ntKar ?* I u?iu uiuvi itiauvc). Mrs. Helen Jenrette A lien Funeral services for Mrs. Helen Jenrette Allen, of 2313 Montrose Avenue were conducted April 17th at 11:00 am in the Chapel of the Hooper Funeral Home with Dr. Jerry A. Drayton officiating.. Surviving relatives are one daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Mae Allen; one sister, Mrs. Junet Mae Barnes; one nephew and other relatives. Hooper Funeral Directors were in charge of services. Miss Monica Lynette Smoot Funeral services for Miss Lynette Smoot, of 1635 Pope Road were conducted April 17th at 2:00 pm at the Phillips Chapel Baptist Church with Rev. Charles W. Leak officiating. Interment followed in the Evergreen Cemetery. She was a native of Clyo, i Gergia and lived in this city for the past seventy years. She was a faithful member of Shiloh ; Baptist Church, Missionary Circle no. 9, Galaxy Club and was a retired employee ! of Export Leaf Tobacco Co. Surviving relatives are one daughter, Mrs. Cora Lee Carter of the home; one son, Mr. William H. Carter of Tampa, Fla.; four grandchildren; nine greatv grandchildren and other relatives. Funeral services were conducted April 21st at 2:00 pm at Shiloh Baptist Church with Dr. J. Ray Butler officiating. Interment followed in the Evergreen Cemetery. Hooper Funeral Directors were in charge of services. Mrs. Viola Simmons Headen Mrs. Viola Simmons Headen, of 176 Highland Avenue, Apt D, died April 16th at her residence. She was a native of Bennettsville, S.C. and a faithful member of Macedonia church of God. Hooper Funeral Directors were in charge of services. Mrs. Lillian Rogene King Mrs. Lillian Rogene King, of 1816 Pleasant St., died April 19th at Forsyth Memorial Hospital. She was a native of this city, faithful member of St. Andrew's United Methodist Church and a member of Hanes Senior Citizens. Surviving relatives are her husband, Mr. Odell King of the home; one daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Arnold; one son Mr. Odell King Jr.; three sisters, Mrs. Agnes Miller, Mrs. Westell Wright and Mrs. Helen Alexander; two brothers, Mr. Howard Willis of Pueblo, Colorado, and KAr v% ?. ? ? * i 11 viaituvv. Strickland officiating. Interment followed in the Evergreen Cemetery. Hooper Funeral Directors were in charge of services. Mr. Isaiah V. Robinson Mr. Isaiah V. Robinson, of 2308 Glenn Avenue, died April 20th at his residence. He was a native of Lancaster, S.C. and lived in this city for the past sixty-five years. He was a faithful member of New Trinity Baptist Church and was a retired employee of R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Co. Surviving relatives are three-sons, Mr. Richard Thompson, Mr. William Thompson and Mr. David Thompson; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; six foster children, Mrs. Mary Kimbro, Mrs. Tecora Dubose, Mrs, Lillie Morris,? Mr. Charles Dubose, Mr. Charles Washington and Mrs. Marion Dubose and other relatives. Funeral services were conducted April 23rd at 3:00 pm in the Chapel, of the Hooper Funeral Home with Rev. J.R. Samuels officiating. Interment followed in the Evergreen Cemetery. Hooper Funeral Directors were in charge of services. Mr. Willie Lee Glenn, Jr. Funeral services for Mr. Willie Lee Glenn, Jr., of 1439 Oak St., were held on April 14, at 3:00 pm in Clark S. Brown &. Sons Funeral Home with Dr. Warnie C. Hay officiating. The body remained in the funeral home until the funeral hour. Interment followed in the Evergreen Cemetery. Clark S. Brown & Sons Funeral Home in charge of services. Mrs. Irene Reece Black Mrs. Irene Reece Black, of 4644 Walcott St., died April 20th in Forsyth Memorial Hospital. The body was removed to Clark S. Brown & Sons Funeral Home.
