The guest speaker will be the Rev. Devia Phinisee of Charlotte. A native of Buffalo, N.Y., Phinisee is a 1973 graduate of Johnson C. Smith University, where she served as an instructor of religion and coordinated religious life. She presently serves as chaplain at the university and is a doc toral candidate at McCormick Theological Seminary.
