James Hunt Jr. and the Res. William Moore officiating. Wheeler is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Oliver L. Wheeler Sr. of Solon Street and Mills is the son of Mrs. Pauline Mills and the late Simon Mills of Wintersille. The bride graduated from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and North Carolina A&T State University and is employed as a counselor for the city-county school system. The groom also graduated from A&T and is self-employed. "l'he bride was given in marriage by her father, with Jill R. McClendon of Cumberland Road and the groom is the son Mr. and Mrs. Timothy Thornton of Columbus, Ga. McClendon graduated from Spelman College and Atlanta University and is employed by the State of Georgia Enviromental Protection Division. The Chronicle regrets the error. Sr. citizens salute July 4th The residents of Sunrise Towers Apartments celebrated the Fourth of July with a hotdog roast on the patio'/Of the apartments. The fellowship included games. The chef was Mr. Sam Goode.
