I He was a veteran of World War II, and a past commander of the I Ralph R. Morgan Post, 22 American. He is survived by his wife, I Margie M. Adams, of the home; six daughters, Tanya L., Tunusha I D., and Denise D. Adams, all of the home, Mrs. Javone A. Rice, I Mrs. Rita A. Harris, Mrs. Inese A. Williams, all of Winston- I Salem; his mother, Mrs. Frances M. Adams of Kershaw, S.C.; six I brothers, Mr. John L. Adams of Willingsboro, N.J., Mr. Robert I L. Adams, Jr., of Queens, N.Y., Mr. James T. Adams of Kershaw, I S.C., Frank and Lro Adams, both of Winston-Salem, Mr. Amos I Adams of Jefferson, S.C.; two sisters, Mrs. Queen Lou Allen of Jefferson, S.C., Mrs. Bertha McCaskill of Jefferson, S.C.; one I daughter-in-law, 3 sons-in-law, ten sisters-in-law, eight brothers-in- I I law, sixty-eight neices and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services are incomplete at this time. Gilmore's Funeral Home is in charge of the funeral arrangements. Mrs, Sylvia Lee Conner I Mrs. Sylvia Lee Conner, of 2030 N. Cherry St, died Friday, Sept. I 7, at Forsyth Memorial Hospital. She was born in Winston-Salem. I She was a member of Antioch Christian Church where she was a I mvaivvi ui i.nc kiiuu . She is survived by her husband, Mr. Richard Conner; two daughters, Mrs. Gladine Gray of Fort Bragg, N.C. and Mrs. Tina Adams of Winston-Salem; her mother, Mrs. Lillie Moir of Winston-Salem; four sisters, Mrs. Brenda Jarrett, Mrs. Anna Page, Mrs. Betty Wolfe and Ms. Marie Moir, all of WinstonSalem; and a host of other relatives and friends. The family may be contacted at the home of the mother, Mrs. Lillie Moir, 209 Walkertown Ave. Funeral services are incomplete at this time. He was born in Rockingham, N.C. He was a member of Baldwin Chapel Seventh Day Adventist Church, High Point, N.C. and was employed for the Kent Family. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Queen Ann Wright, of the home; five daughters, Mrs. Charlene Wright Gray of Baltimore, Md., 1 Mrs. Sarah Wright Hale, Ms. Karen Hannah Wright, Miss Frances Wright and Mrs. Queen A. Wright, all of Winston-Salem; seven sons, Mr. Willie Hinson of Washington, D.C., Mr. Lonnie Wright, Jr., of Philadelphia, Pa., Mr. Darryl M. Wright, Mr. Charles Tim Wright, Mr. George Arthur Wright, Mr. Albert H. Wright and Mr. Calvin L. Wright, all of Winston-Salem; one sister* Mrs. Pauline Mclntyre of Washington, D.C.; twenty grandchildren, two aunts,' ' one neice, thirty cousins, other relatives and friends. East Gate Apt.-O, died on Sunday, Sept. 9, at Forsyth Memorial Hospital. He was born in Laurens, S.C. and had lived in Winston-Salem for 60 years. He was a Baptist by faith and had retired from Winston Leaf Tobacco Co. Mr. Choice was a member of East Gate Flower Club. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Arah W. Choice, of the home; one sister, Mrs. Lillian Fowler of Atlantic City, N.J.; several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Funeral services were held at 4 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 6, at Clark S. Brown & Sons Funeral Home. Burial followed in Evergreen Cemetery. Clark S. Brown & Sons Funeral Home were in charge of the funeral arrangements. Mr. William H.Flynt Mr. William H. Flynt, of 504 Mock St., died Wednesday, Sept. 8, at Forsyth Memorial Hospital. He was bom in Advance, N.C. but had lived in Winston-Salem for many years. He was a member of Piney Grove Baptist Church. He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Geneva Young of Winston-Salem; one daughter-in-law, Mrs. Marie Flynt of Winston-Salem; six grandchildren, Mrs. Betty J. Zion Church, located at Seventh Street and Patterson Avenue, will observe "Senior Citizens* Recognition Day" at its 11 a.m. service. The Rev. James A. French, the church's pastor, will lead the service. A fellowship dinner in honor of the seniors will be held immediately following the service.
