Greene, piesident of the college which is located in Salisbury, N.C. Dr. Ewers was an outstanding scholar-athlete at Atkins High School ' while growing up in Winston-Salem and went on to Johnson C. Smith University where he earned a B. A. degree in Education in 1970. In 1971 he earned the Masters of Arts Degree in education from Catholic University in Washington, D.C. and in 1980 earned the Doctor of Education degree from the University of Massachusetts/Amherst.
