The Belview Civic League has been active since it was chartered in 1945. The club is comprised of a group of concerned citizens who live in and around the Belview community and are instrumental in taking care of the immediate needs of their community, such as the formation of the community watch program, the clean neighborhood projects, and the formation of the Boy Scout and Girl Scout groups in | the area. The group also played a large part in getting a new recrea- | tion center and helped with voter registration during the recent elections.
