Something for everyone By CHERYL WILLIAMS Chronicle Staff Writer There is something for everyone on this year’s fall fashion scene. Big, bulky, loose, body- hugging and colorful clothes will all be characteristic of the season. After a summer of jeans, jams, T-shirts, tank tops, skimpy tops and dresses with snug bodices and full skirts, this fall promises to be just as much fun. This year’s colors and shapes will provide an easy transition in to winter. Sweater dressing will be big with women this fall. As the days turn cooler, sweaters of varying lengths will be seen paired with full and straight skirts and with jeans. Kathleen Jamison, sportswear manager at Montaldo’s on Strat ford Road, says that knitted skirts and pants will also be popular this fall. The emphasis on accessories this fall will be on gold and silver jewelry, Mrs. Jamison says. Mrs. Jamison also says that she is seeing a change in the fall ac- tivewear, such as jeans. “The ac- tivewear is a little dressier and more finished,” she says.
