Hodges, a member oJ the association since 1975, is active with several other civic and com munity groups. He is a former pastor of Shiloh Baptist Church in Mount Airy and Forbush Baptist Church in Yadkin County. He is active with the Minis ters Conference and the Baptist Ministers Conference of Winston- Salem. Rev. Hodges also is president of the Greenway Community Watch Program and is past high priest of Royal Arch Masons, Chapter No. 65, PHA. He attend ed Winston-Salem State Universi ty. "Our number one project for the year will be to increase our membership and expand our scholarship program," said Rev. Hodges. Other officers elected at the meeting were Harold L. Kennedy Ill, vice president; Mildred Grif fin, secretary; and the Rev. Harry A. Smith treasurer. Mr. Keimedy also will serve as chair of the program commit tee. Two members-at-Iarge were elected to serve on the board of directors. They are J.L. Lassiter and Mary Taylor. Mr. Kennedy will head the membership committee and Rudolph V. Boone is chair of the scholarship committee. Robert A. Miller is chair of the auditorium and publicity committee. It was suggested that a mem bership meeting be held quarterly.
