Golden Heritage Life Membership Mount Zion Baptist Church is now the holder of the second Golden Heritage Life Membership in the Winston-Salem NAACP chapter. A Golden Heritage Life Membership costs $1,000 and can be purchased only by an individual, church or organization which owns a NAACP Life Membership. The Life Mem bership program is the chief means of support of the NAACP's Fight For Freedom. McCaskill Named Man Of The Year | Reginald McCaskill was named "Sigma Man Of The Year" by Alpha Alpha Gamma Sigma Chap ter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Inc. on Jan. 10, during their Founders Day luncheon. - # McCaskill, a native of Jack sonville, Fla., has been an active member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraterni ty, Inc. for three years. He is his chapter's president, state and region al director of Sigma Beta Clubs. He is a member of the North Carolina State and Southeastern Regional Executive Board, where he has been instrumental in the development of youth programs for the fraternity, as well as other activities and func tions. McCaskill, a 1985 graduate of Winston-Salem State University, is Reginald McCaskill active in numerous causes. He is a member of the Cleveland Avenue Christian Church, where he is direc tor of the youth and young adult , choir, chairman of the Christian youth fellowship and a member of the Men's Christian Fellowship and church board. <* He currently participates with the Forsyth Court Volunteers, vol unteer coordinator for the United Negro College Fund, Winston Salem State Homecoming Steering committee, Winston Salem State University National Alumni Associ ation and is vice chairman of the Southeast Winston rescue Squad Board. He is married to Aimee Hamp ton-McCaskill and is employed with the city of Winston-Salem as a job training specialist in Youth Services for the Workforce Development Department. Masons Give Donation to ESR Various lodges of the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite Masons recently made a contribution to Experiment in Self-Reliance. The masons presented their charitable donations to ESRs direc tor, Robert B. Law. They selected ESR to receiv^thc funds, due to budget cuts from contributing orga nizations. The Brothers of Progres sive Lodge #310 also gave cash donations to seven widows of deceased Brothers of the Jodge. They said they were^glad God had blessed them to the extent that they could share with others. The Brothers made a donation to Crisis Control Ministries in 1991. Anheuser-Busch Funds NAACP Painting Renowned artist Jacob Lawrence right, who was commis sioned by Anheuser - Busch Com panies to develop a painting in honor of the 25th Annual NAACF Image Awards, presents "Grand Performances" to Henry H Brown, senior vice president of market development for Anheuser-Busch. Limited-edition lithographs of the image will be presented to special supporters of the NAACP Image Award, and annual program that honors individuals and groups that have contributed to the positive portrayal of African-Amcricans in the entertainment industry. The 25th Annual NAACP Image Awards, which for the first time will receive corporate support, is being sponsored by AnheusCT - Busch Companies.
