Burke Named Vice Chancellor \ W inston-Salem State Universi ty's Chancellor Cleon F. Thompson Jr. has officially named Fred A. Burke vice chancellor for'business affairs, a position Burke has held on an interim basis since September 'IWI. Burke, who succeeds Willie E. Grissom. has occupied several financial positions at WSSU since fie began working there in 1968. including assistant business man ager. comptroller and business man ager/budget officer. He left for a year in 1973 - 74 to be controller at _\Vinvton Mutual Life Insurance C ompany.
