This is strictly Desmond's decision,
along with parental guidance. I was

was that everything was did with
style and for success on academics."
Coach Keith Wilks "Desmond
has been a hard worker at carver
High School for the last three years.

Desmond Jackson "NCCU
was the best school of my choices.
They treated me very nice when 1
went to visit. They also made me
feel that they would take care of me

years experience. He's a big target
on the field, a big range guy. A lot
qf college scouts saw Otto on the
field, all 6'5", 230 pounds of him.
He's going to be a real good catch
for Winston Salem State."
According to Coach Willis.
"The WSSU football coach said
Otto would be playing tight or
defensive-end on the college team
also."
Kerry Harbor from page B1
I asked of him and has showed
respect to others. He was All-West
pick, a player on the second team of
All-State and played in the Shrine
Bowl this year,'' Wilks concluded.
Bishop Harris, NCCU football
coach added, "Harbor is a fine
young man. an outstanding athlete,
and above all an excellent student.
We are' extremely pleased to have
him in our program. Harbor is the
type of individual who will make
his parents proud and help build a
successful program at NCCU.V
Stella Harbor "We have been
really proud of Harbor the last 12
years of his school, especially over
his high school year."
Thomas Harbor "We brought
Harbor to the fork in the road and he
Milgo Floyd
wanted to be a doctor. He is an out
standing player on the field. Floyd
was the first commitment for Wake
Forest, and I wish him the best of
luck."
Jeter Floyd "At this time it was
a choice Milgo made. Academically
wise. Wake Purest had a lot to offers
and hopefully he will do well there.
1 feel he is in a good environment
and going into Pre-Vled. Wake For
est i> a good college with all he
needs."
Pegg) Floyd "We're very
chose his own direction."
Kerry Harbor "Right now
NCCU has a very young team and
that's why I chose to go there. They
also have a new coach, Bishop Har
ris, w ho has coached at a lot of well
known schools.
"I feel they have a good pro
gram at NCCU and I also believe I
have a good chance of receiving my
playing time there.
"The over-all reason I chose
NCCU was the entire staff, coaches
and teachers seem to care about you
and they place academics over ath
letics. So even if you're a regular
student, you receive the same atten
tion as a star athlete," Harbor con
cluded.

happy over his commitment because
of the field he wants to go into. As a
parent, I'm just happy period. It will
also be a good reflection on Carver
High School with his choice in

Milgo Floyd "I chose Wake
' Forest because it had what I wanted
in academics and I also achieved
one of my goals of playing in the
ACC.
The school accommodates
everything I looked for in academics
