Annual Meeting Held The Wifiston-Salem Chapter of National Women of Achievement Inc. held its first pf th^ yaar at the home of Mr. and Mrs. James Monroe Falls Jan. 25. The group recognized Roxanna Pitts for 10 years of service. Pitts is of the chapter. Pitts who is a charter mem ber, received a gift and a gold and white certificate of appreciation for her services. The Winston-Salem Chapter was Organized in 1982. Other business of the meeting was to make tentative plans for attending the southeast Biennial Mini-conference at the File - Good win Center at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, March 27, and the Biennial National Convention in Houston Texas, July 13/17. The last meeting of 1992 held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Scales served as the chapter's evalu ation meeting for the year program, including donations to the Salvation Army Girls Club and the United Negro College Fund. Joan Cardweli and her daughter represented the chapter and the Youth Achievers m thi L'NCT telethon. The approval of the 199? pro gram plans includes the addiction of Crisis Control Ministries and per sonal student scholarships. Annie Lee Smith of Houston.
