She was a native of Kemersville, N.C and an employee of the Winston Salem Sanitation Department Carter is survived by a devoted friend, Nancy L. Lindsay of the home; one daughter, Moneka C. Carter of the home; three sons* David F. Lindsay and Rodney Lindsay, both of the home, and Kevin Dewalt of Mocksville, N.C.; five grandchildren; six sisters, Mrs. Oliver Hayes, Nancy Robinson, Rosa Dewalt, Came Coleman, Sandra Smith and Linda Carter, all of Winston Salem; one brother, William (Deborah) Carter of Winston-Salem; two aunts, Mildred Brim of Eden. N.C. and Blanche Eldridge of Winston- Salem; one uncle, Jessie (Mary) Jones of Walkertown, N.C^ plus many other relatives and friends. Services were held Monday in the Frances S. and Jerry C. Saunders is survived by one son, Dwight Lamont Saunders of Winston Salem; his mother. Coretha Saunders of the home; his father. She was a native of Mecklenburg County She was born to John and Ada C. Klutz. She lived in Winston-Salem for over 60 years. Kinard was the widow of AI C. Kinard. a former Winston-Salem police officer She was a lov ing wife, mother and a faithful friend to all who knew her. Kinard joined Hanes Memorial C.M.E Church shortly after arriving ip Winston-Salem. She was a member of the Missionary Society and served her church and attended regularly M long as her health permitted. She was also a member of the Sky land Park Community Club. Kinard was loyal and faithful In service to her friends and anyone tn need. If anyone was sick, she was persistent in calling to inquire of that person's welfare and to wish him or her well. Kinard is survived by a daughter, Carlita Kinard Shepard and a son-in law, Lorenzo B. Shephard of Hampstead, N.C.: a sister. Eldora K. Robinson of Staten Island, N.Y.; two brothers. Warren (Angeline) Klutz and Alonzo (Mar garet) Klutz, both of Kannapolis, N.C.; a brother-in-law, Clarence Kinard of Winston-Salem; several nieces and nephews; plus many other relatives and friends. PARKER James "Juicy" Lee Parker of 1332 Oak St. died April 10 at North Caroli na Baptist Hospital. -He was a native of Winston-Salem. He was bom June 3. 1913 and was a life-long resident of Winston-Salem. He was a member of Ml Zion Baptist Church and a retired employee of Piedmont Leaf Tobacco Co. Parker is survived by an uncle, Lonnie Tyson of Winston-Salem; an aunt. Ear line Tyson of Winston-Salem; two nephews, Donald Davis of New York and Richard Davis of Winston-Salem; plus many other relatives and friends. RADER Coleman Lynn Rader Sr. of 1 137-D N. Cameron Ave. died April 12 at Forsyth Memorial Hospital. He was a native of Fort Long, S.C. He was bom Sept. 2. 1913 to the late Bessie Lynn and the late George Rader. He liyed in Winston-Salem for most of his life. He attended Hanes Memorial C.M.E. Church and was a retired .employee of RJ. Reynolds Tobacco Co, Rader is survived by his wife, Margaret House Rader of the home; a daughter, Delois K.tRader of Winston-Salem; two sons. Richard C Rader of Atlanta and Coleman L. (Emily) Rader Jr. of Maple Grove, Minn.; a step daughter, Ivory House (Tyrone) Baldwin of High Point; grandchildren, Vicki Lynn Rader of Minnesota. Darlene (Dwayne) Johnson of Ohio, and Frederick House, Shantana House and Michelle House, all of Winston-Salem; great grandchildren. Russell Funeral Directors handled arrangements. WILLIAMS Eugenia Flax Owens Williams of 813 N. Cameron Ave. died April 15 at Forsyth Memorial Hospital. She was a native of Reidsville, N.C. She was born Oct. 19, 1902 to George and Clara Flax. She was the youngest of 14 children. She was married to Charlie Owens, and from that union was bom Clara Owens Cloud. In 1933, she married the late Savannah Williams of Williamston. N.C. They lived in Winston-Salem on Wheeler Street for over 50 years. She was a member of Galilee Baptist Church and had been a member of the Deaconess Board. Mis sionary Group, Sunday School and choir. She was also a member of the Household of Ruth. Skyland Community Club, and the Wheeler Street/Dunlei th Avenue Community Club. She worked at R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Co. before retiring in 1964. ? - " __ ?
