The B.C. B.C. will feature the
top 40 seniors from the Mid-Eastern
Athletic Conference - MEAC, the
Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Con
ference - SIAC, the Southwestern Ath
letic , Conference - SWAC, the Central
Intercollegiate Athletic Association - CIAA,
the Eastern Intercollegiate Athletic Confer
ence - EIAC, the Interregional Athletic Con
ference - IAC, as well as the Black Indepen
dent Colleges.
Ourfirst B.C.B.C. was attended by
Willis Reed of the New Jersey
Nets, as well as several other
NBA scouts. Former NBA
player and now Miami Heat
scout, Walli Jones coached
and conducted alree youth
clinic. Larry Stewart of Coppin State,
a participant in the first Black College
Basketball Classic, is currently play
ing for the NBA's Washington Bul
lets
