The Suns defeated DRT by two points in the
final game of the RJi Barringer Senior League
after a hard fought, four-game overtime.
Suns Defeat Spurs
In the first game of the tournament the Suns
defeated the Spurs 80-60.
C. Reynolds was high scorer for the game
with his 33 points surely adding to the Suns vic
tory. Also scoring points for the Suns were: M.
Lewis, 12; R. Little, 12; and R. Couthen, 12.
Scoring points for the Spurs were: V.

The Tri-Gty Relay Track Club
had 48 runners, including 14 relay
teams qualify for the Regional m
meet last Saturday at Wallace Wade
Stadium at Duke Univeiaity.
These 48 nmnen wiH go to St.
Augustine College in Raleigh July
10-11 for the Regional m.
The Tri-City Track Club
brought home 25 golds, 24 silver,
and 21 bronze medals last weekend.
In the high jump, 2nd place,
Jessica Rector and Adanna McDow
ell took 4th in the 11-12 girls divi
sion. In the 13-14 boys division,
Ashanti McDowell took 1st place.
Nspoleon Davis finished 4th in the
17-18 boys division. In the long
jump Marquea Heath placed 2nd,
Angela Breeden took second and
Paris Reid finished third. Scott
Steward took 3rd in the boys divi
sion. Ashanti McDowell finished
5th and Keisha Hayes took 6th in
same division. Lav'e Wilson took
2nd place and General Willfams also
