Rosalyn Hinson had a vision. Give people a means to focus their energy and keep them out of trouble by training them in martial arts. All the while, teaching them life lessons: respect, discipline and self-worth. That's just how Indomitable Spirit Martial Arts School began. That was five years ago. Today it offers everything from creative writing classes to safety tips for the elderly. Rosalyn and her volunteer staff encourage students to stand on their own two feet and not rely on others. Now that's a fresh approach. Thank you Rosalyn for bringing a fresh approach to Philadelphia. In recognition of your dedication, a donation of $5,000 has been awarded to your organization.
