Shekinah Installs Pastor Byron M. Ingram was ordained and installed as pastor of Shekinah Glory Praise Center on July 4 at the church, located at 542 N. Trade St. Pastor James D. Taylor of Revealed Church of Christ offici ated. Pastor Sarah Hauser of Reve lations of Faith Church adminis tered the Charge to the Pastor and the Charge to the Church. Pastor Johnny Scott of Liberty Taberna cle Baptist Church led an installa tion prayer. Ingram is married to Evange list Cheryl Ingram, assistant pastor of Shekinah Glory Praise Center. They have four sons, Bryant, Elmo, Joshua and Jeff. Ingram is an employee of Taylor Brothers Inc., where he has worked for the past 13 years. Pastor Byron Ingram and Evangelist Cheryl Ingram Missionary Department to Observe Anniversary The Zion Memorial Missionary Department will celebrate its 49th anniversary this Sunday at 3 p.m. Jerrye Gntiin will bethespeaker. ~ Jacqueline Brockman will be the mistress of ceremonies. All past presidents of the Mis sionary Department will be recog nized. A memorial service for deceased members will be conduct ed by Rachel Campbell. Dazelle Jones is president of the department. Martha G. Jones is program chairperson. Griffin, who lives in Winston Salem, is a native of Whitmire, S.C. She is a graduate of Johnson C. Smith University, where she received a bachelor of science degree in mathematics. She is an employee of the Win ston-Salem/Forsyth County School System, where she is a math teacher at bast horsy th High School. She also serves as an instructor for the Upward Bound program at Win ston-Salem State University. Griffin is a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church, where she is a Sunday School teacher, directoc of the Young Adult Missionary Department, and a member of the Trustee Board. She also holds other positions in the church and commu nity. Griffin was recently appointed the state young adult director of the Women's Baptist Home and For eign Missionary Convention of North Carolina. The public is invited. The Rev. Joseph Jones is pastor. Ministry to Convene The Shirley Caesar Out reach Ministry will hold its 21st annual convention July 18-24 in New Heritage U.S.A., formerly known as the P.T.L. Club, located in Fort Mills, S.C. Special guests include the Rev. Ranee Allen, Evangelist Carolyn Harrell, the ftev. Demond Wilson, Evangelist Angel Smith, the Rev. R.L. Jackson, Evangelist Iona Locke, the Rev. Don DeGrate, the Rev. John P. Kec, the Rev. Douglas Miller and many more.
