She was a native of Jenkinsville, S.C., and moved to Win ston-Salem in 1926 and was employed by Brown and Williamson Tobacco Company for 19 years. She lateTworked^ in the home of Mayor Jimmy Cohen where shfe remained until her retirement in 1967. She wfcs a member of the Ephesus Sev enth Day Adventist Church. She was known as "Mama Min nie". Corpening is survived by one daughter Earthy L. Wilson; one son-in-law, Henry A. Wilson, both of Winston-Salem; six grandchildren, Ronald Wilson, Sharon Wilson and Karen Wright all of Winston-Salem, Debra Inegenebar of Brooklyn, N.Y., Gloria Taylor of Jacksonville, Fla., Joette Preston of Charlotte; thirteen great grandchildren; one great great grand daughter, three god grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. WILSON Mr. Robert Edward WHson of 2603 Rochester Street died Nov. 17 at his home. ? He was a native of Camden, N.J. but resided in Winston Salem for 10 years. He was a masonary by trade and a Methodist by faith. Wilson is survived by his mother, Marva Wilson of Cam den, NJ.; his father, Robert Edward Brown of the home; one sister, Sandra Wilson of Camden, N.J.; one brother Keith Wil son of the home; seven aunts; eight uncles and a host of cousins and other relatives and friends. Covington of 2015 Scotch Pine Court, died Nov. 15 at the N.C. Baptist Hospital after a five month illness. She was a native of Eberton, Ga. but had resided in Winston-Salem for 43 years. She was a 1950 graduate of Atkins High School. She was a homemaker and a driver for the Forsyth County School System. She was a member of Genesis Outreach Center where she was president of the Pas tor's Aid, Sunday school teacher. Nurse Board, Assistant to the Tot Choir and a member of the Trustees Board. Covington is survived 1>y two daughters, Beverly (Shelly) King and Sheila (Johnny) Walker both of Winston-Salem; three sons, Clyde L. Jr., Wayne and Reginald Convington, all of Winston-Salem; six grandchildren, Sheneatha Hickman, Cassandra Hickman, Taronya Covington, Clyde Covington, III, Melanie King, and Vickie Wiley; one sister, Susie Mae Dubose of Winston-Sale; and a host of other relatives and friends.
