The JV boys fin ished 81-4 last year and 11-3 in the con ference. With that conference record, the team finished in first place. The team is returning one player from last year, Lamonte Darden, who will start this year. The JV boys team is made up of 6 ninth graders and 7 tenth graders. The starters are center Linwood Petty 6*3", F-Kenneth Dawkins 6*1", F- Lam onte Darden 6'2", G-David Price 5' 11" and G-Gerrard Grady 5' 10". Brendan Haywood is a 6'5" ninth grader who will see a lot of playing time. The team record up to this point is 3 0, led by Kenneth Dawkins in scoring 23 points and 12 rebounds.
