MCMILLAN Special to THE CHRONICLE Rainbow Tabernacle of Faith Inc., 4091 New Walkertown Road in Winston-Salem, was founded by Dr. Barbara Jenkins in 1984. From its humble beginnings as a prayer fellowship, the church now serves as Jurisdictional Headquarters to nine church es and five separate ministries. During the week of Aug. 10-17, the churches and min istries assembled at the Adam's Mark Winston Plaza in downtown Winston Salem. The theme of the Hagios Ekklesia (holy assembly) was "Substance of His Glory ... Patterns of Divine Design," based on Psalm 139:13-15. The week marked the 13th annu al Holy Assembly of Rainbow Tabernacle of Faith Ministries International Inc. According to Jenkins, the Holy Assembly was "called out and ordained by God as a time for all the children of God to come together in one place, on one accord, to be mounted up for another year of service." During the course of the week, the con gregations looked to the Holy Spirit "to restore and regenerate his people and impart a deeper revelation of the knowl edge of who [they] are." Dr. Barbara A.
