SPECIAL TO THfc C HRONICLE The recent 14th Annual Bingo for Turkeys was an outstanding at the William Sims, Sr. Recreation Center starting at 5 p.m. Pareots and chil dren were happy to win a free turkey at no cost to enter the con test. "Everybody deserves the right to have a turkey for Thanksgiving when jobs are closing on fami lies every day," said center super visor Ben Piggott. The Pfafftown Chapter of National Women of Achievement will sponsor their first Profiles of Prominence in conjunction with the Symbols of the Season Awards Luncheon. This luncheon is to celebrate local community organizations and businesses dur ing the Christmas season.. The Awards Luncheon will be held on Dec. 1 from 12-2 p.m. at the Hawthorne Inn and Conference Center at 420 High St. The new president of the Pfafftown Chapter of NWOA is Achiever Leeanna Lee. The three presidents who preceded Lee were Achievers Irene Hairston. Jeannette T. Lewis and Valarie Harris. The Pfafftown Chapter of NWOA is one of ten chapters located in the Southeast Region. The new Southeast Regional Director is Achiever Valarie Harris. The previous Regional Directors were Achievers Helen W. Falls, Manderline Scales. Willie Kennedy, Jeannette T.
