The children in Angela Roberts and Wendy Carter's three and four-year-old class performed for the fathers in attendance. The youngsters dressed in paper hats and ties and sang songs about their D A-D-D-Y's. "You see moms all the time, bringing the children in; I said, 'Let's do something for the dads,'" related Roberts, one of the Dads's Day pro gram's staunchest supporters. "There are so many families that don't have dads, so I think it's important to recognize the dads that are in their children's lives." Thirteen parents from the class, including several single moms, turned out for the event. Carter said the children were glad to see so many dads in the building.
