in the junior division of the recent annual Kathleen Price and Joseph
M. Bryan Youth Concerto Competition for young North Carolina
artists. The final round of the competition was held at Peace College
in Raleigh. Ryan has won several other competitions, including the
first prize in the Peter Perret Youth Talent Search Competition in 2009
and the North Carolina 2010 MTNA competition.
