NCNW holds successful state gathering SPECIAL TO THE CHRONICLE The National Council of Negro Women, Inc. held its State Coalition meeting on May 31 at the Rupert Bell Recreation Center in Winston-Salem. Attendees received a continen tal breakfast, lunch and gift bags filled with keepsakes. The Winston-Salem Section tiosted the annual gathering. More than 100 members attended, including ones from the Durham, Charlotte, Fayetteville, Capital Area/Raleigh, Northeastern/Elizabeth City and Alamance/Guilford sections.
