Contacts are Catherine Peppers ______ from page B4 sented the concept of "loving one another" as evidence that believers love God. Lesson: John declares that a lifestyle of love through the indwelling Spirit is living proof that believers have the real thing! True faith is not revealed by some mystery, rit ual, or a memorized statement. There is no need to fear the Judgment because believers live in love that comes from God alone. He loved first, His Children follow His lead. Love drives out fear because God knows each of His Children; if they are sincere, their Salvation is a guaran tee! The ultimate contradiction of the love of God is hate and indifference towards others. His grace removes all fear. You see, fear is related to punishment; love drives it out! The Children of God can love because of their faith and the power of the Holy Spirit. Their love for God leads them to become obedient to Him. Believers have, are and will overcome the world's systems. Can you name a few? Each time they stand where God stands, even in the face of persecution and/or death, victory is the outcome. Life's Application: As our faith grows our fears diminishes. How do we know that we are on God's side? Examine the "man in the mirror" to determine if you live by love. We come up short at times but grace steps in. What I'm saying is basically does the sum total of your life today shows more love than hate or indifference? Our Salvation is not based on the standards of the world but God's love!! We can't love God and harbor hate in our hearts for others. God is love, shouldn't we resemble love? God expects His Children to stand where He stands. It may not be easy, convenient, or safe but His love inspires us and gets us through the rough places That's obedience! We may not understand how it all works but His love con quers on all levels. If we are on God's side don't doubt; it is the right side! Hawkins-Speller 336-407-6415 or Marie Jamerson 336-577-6752.
