Spring Celebration The Liberty Street Market is holding a Spring Celebration on Saturday, May 30 where the Mighty Eliminators will be featured from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. There will be food, games, vendors and activities for kids. Tools for Caregivers Class Registration is now underway for Powerful Tools for Caregivers, a 6 week class for anyone caring for a loved one who is frail ,or ill. Sanchez-Boudy at 336 995-1896. | Community Briefs | Honoring our Veterans ] Beginning Memorial Day week and continuing throughout June, the hnends of the Odd Fellows Cemetery would like to honor those veterans who are buried in the Odd Fellows Cemetery. The 'Friends' are volunteers who clean, main tain and beautify the 10 acre historic black cemetery, where military veterans from World Wars I and II, Korea, Vietnam and even the Spanish-American War are buried. Their service should not be forgotten, says the organization. Today, 'Friends' recognizes Pfc. James Harry Spencer, World War I, born in 1890.
