CITY COUNCIL ON PETITIONS
FOR ZONING CHANGES
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, pursuant
to the requirements of Article 19 of
Chapter 160A of the General Statutes of
North Carolina, that the City Council of
the City of Winston-Salem will hold a
public hearing in the Council Chamber at
City Hall, Room 230, 101 N. Main
Street, Winston-Salem, NC at 7:00 pm.
on October 3,2013 on the following pro
posed amendment to the Official Zoning
Map of the City of Winston-Salem,
North Carolina:
1. Proposal of Community Development,
Housing, and General Government Com
mittee of the City Council amending
Chapter B of the Unified Development
Ordinances to revise the suggested Plant
Materials List - UDO-266.
All parties in interest and citizens are in
vited to attend said hearing at which time
they shall have an opportunity to be
heard in favor of or in opposition to the
foregoing proposed changes.
During the public hearing the City Coun
cil may hear other proposals to amend
the zoning of the above-described prop
erty or any portion thereof. At the end of
the public hearing, the City Council may
continue the matter, deny the proposed
rezoning, in whole or in part, grant the
proposed rezoning, in whole or in part,
or rezone the above-described property
or any portion thereof to some other zon
ing classification.
Prior to the hearing, all persons interested
may obtain any additional information on
these proposals which is in the posses
sion erf the City-County Planning Board
