Black History Month contest winners
The Winston-Salem Recreation and Parks Department recognized winners of the
annual Black History Month coloring and essay contests sponsored by the Winston
Salem Police, Fire and Recreation and Parks departments. The coloring contest was for
children in grades kindergarten through three, and the essay contest was for students in

Church.
