pose of providing funds, together with
any other available funds, for acquiring,
constructing, improving, expanding, ren

the acquisition of any related land, rights
of way and equipment.
2. That taxes shall be levied in an
amount sufficient to pay the principal of
and the interest on said bonds.

amount not exceeding $15,000,000 for
the purpose of providing funds, together
with any other available funds, for ac
quiring, constructing, improving, ex
panding, renovating and equipping parks
and recreational facilities inside and out
side the corporate limits of said County,
including, without limitation, the acqui
sition of any related land, rights of way
and equipment.
2. That taxes shall be levied in an
amount sufficient to pay the principal of
and the interest on said bonds.
3. That a sworn statement of the debt of
said County has been Filed with the Clerk
to the Board and is open to public inspec
tion.
4. That this order shall take effect when
approved by the voters of said County at
a referendum as provided in said Act.
The foregoing orders were adopted on.
the 8th day of August, 2016, and are
hereby published this 18th day of Au
gust, 2016. Any action or proceeding
questioning the validity of the orders
must be begun within 30 days after the
date of publication of this notice. The
Chief Financial Officer of the County has
filed a statement estimating that the total
amount of interest that will be paid on the
proposed bonds over the expected term
of the bonds, if issued, is $217,215075.
The estimate is preliminary, is for general
informational purposes only, and may
differ from the actual interest paid on
such bonds. Such statement of estimated
interest includes certain assumptions
upon which such estimate is based, and
there is no assurance that the circum
stances included in such assumptions
will occur. The validity of the proposed
bonds is not subject to challenge on the
grounds that the actual interest cost on
the bonds when issued is different than
the estimated interest amount set forth
above.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the
North Carolina Utilities Commission has
scheduled a public hearing to conduct an
annual review of the cost of natural gas
supply, storage and transportation for
Piedmont Natural Gas Company, Inc.
(Piedmont). The public hearing has been
scheduled for Monday, October 3,2016,
at 2:00 p.m., in Commission Hearing
Room 2115, Dobbs Building, 430 North
Salisbury Street, Raleigh, North Car
olina. The hearing is being held pursuant
to the provisions of G.S. 62-133.4(c) and
Commission Rule Rl-17(kX6) for the
purpose of comparing Piedmont's pru
dently-incurred gas costs with costs re
covered from all of the utility's customers
served during the test period. Public wit
ness testimony will be received in accor
dance with Commission Rule Rl-21(g).
Piedmont filed testimony relating to the
subject matter of this hearing on August
