The fruits of his labor showed during their first game of the year as they defeated North Forsyth 70-40. He says he got what he asked for from his team during that game and if they are patient better things await his squad. Following that opening victory were two tough losses to Reynolds and Reagan. Geter and the Bobcats enter the Lash Chronicle tournament looking to get back on the winning side. As the number eight seed their first game will be against Thomasville where his mentor and friend. Robert Moore, is head coach. Geter says he has his eye on a few guys on his team to step up during the tourna ment and play big. JaQuay McMillan and sophomore Benjamin Williams are expect ed to play well. Geter says he also thinks Chance Carter and Daniel Napper will make a solid impact early and often. This is Geter's first year coaching at Glenn but has coached in the Lash Chronicle tournament before so he is familiar with the atmosphere. "This year I plan on winning it all, that was one of our goals," said Geter of his teams expectations for the tournament. "You can let everybody else know we are coming to win it." Geter says he likes to call his style of play "organized chaos" because of the pressure he plans to putting on the other team offensively and defensively. "1 am an uptempo guy and if you ever watch Louisville play that's my style," Geter said. "We are all over the floor and we are going to press you for the whole 32 minutes. We like to get out and run so we are fun to watch and everything is a little entertaining for us because my kids show emotion." The Bobcats have 23 games on the schedule with 12 of them at home and Geter says he wants to go undefeated at home. He says he wants to only have sin gle digits in the loss column at the end of the season.
