Thomasville plans to take bite out of

The Thomasville Bulldogs have had
somewhat of an up and down season to
start the year off. They hope to start a win
ning trend once they begin play in the
The Bulldogs have a deep team with
some terrific athletes leading the way.
Javon Cunningham is a quick guard with
great ball handling skills that can break
down the defense of the dribble. Ziaquawn
Cochrane is a wing player that can stretch
the floor and get to the rim in a hurry. They
also have some good spot up shooters like
Curtis Gilyard, Taylor Jenkins and Jalen
Woodrow that can knock down open three
Head coach Robert Moore Jr. says he
likes the dynamic of his team and thinks
they can make a deep run in the Lash
Chronicle tournament. He says he is a little
concerned with the lack of ball handling
depth but they should do well.
Opening the season the Bulldogs won
their first two games but has since lost three
in a row heading into the first weekend of
the Lash-Chronicle tournament. Moore
says that all he asks his guys is to go out
and give 100 percent and leave it all out on
For Moore his opening round game
against Glenn will have extra importance.
He will face his former protege in Glenn
head coach Chris Geter. Moore said that he
knows this game will have some extra
intensity because of the history the two
coaches share but wishes the best for Geter.
Moore says that he loved the athleti
cism that his team displays on a night in
night out basis. He thinks if they can gel as
a team they can be a very dangerous team.
