They hope to start a win ning trend once they begin play in the Lash-Chronicle tournament. The Bulldogs have a deep team with some terrific athletes leading the way. Javon Cunningham is a quick guard with great ball handling skills that can break down the defense of the dribble. Ziaquawn Cochrane is a wing player that can stretch the floor and get to the rim in a hurry. They also have some good spot up shooters like Curtis Gilyard, Taylor Jenkins and Jalen Woodrow that can knock down open three pointers. Head coach Robert Moore Jr. says he likes the dynamic of his team and thinks they can make a deep run in the Lash Chronicle tournament. He says he is a little concerned with the lack of ball handling depth but they should do well. Opening the season the Bulldogs won their first two games but has since lost three in a row heading into the first weekend of the Lash-Chronicle tournament. Moore says that all he asks his guys is to go out and give 100 percent and leave it all out on the court. For Moore his opening round game against Glenn will have extra importance. He will face his former protege in Glenn head coach Chris Geter. Moore said that he knows this game will have some extra intensity because of the history the two coaches share but wishes the best for Geter. Moore says that he loved the athleti cism that his team displays on a night in night out basis. He thinks if they can gel as a team they can be a very dangerous team.
