Lady Day Social Club Celebrates First Year ~ The l.ady Day Social Club. 15. years old last November 1st. held its first Christinas party Saturday night at Holi day Inn Downtown, from 8 until 12 and approximately 150 of their friends helped them celebrate the occassion with dancing and frolic-kin); and feasting. ."Everybody has called and said it was very nice and that they enjoyed it," said club Secretary Janie B. Seeeers. Mho is one of the original members of the club that was organized in 1959. ..Mes, Seegers added. "We are planning a similar affair around November of next ye ar." The Lady Day Social Club, organized with four members, now has six and plans to "take in" some new members soon, according to Mrs. Seegers. They meet two limes a month, on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays, and one of their projects has been sending children to sum mer camp.
