MRS. SARAH POLK of 2826 Botany Street will
be among the 100 Pillsbury Bake-Off finalists in
San Francisco, February 22-25.
Our Mrs. Polk will be vying for the $25,000 top
prize money in the contest. In talking with the
very lovely grandmother of 4, Happening found
out that she was nervously excited about the
whole thing. Nevertheless she plans to enjoy her
trip because she will get an opportunity to see
many things she hasn’t seen before. One thing
Mrs. Polk definitely wants to do is meet and take
pictures with the master of ceremonies for the
Bake-Off. BOB BARKER.
..Good luck Mrs. Polk
and if your cooking
compares to your
charm and grace you
are a cinch to win.
