Mrs. Polly W. Brewer, a
Banking Officer of Wachovia
Bank & Trust and Branch
Manager of the Freedom Mall
^ Office, was recently appointed
to a six year term on the State
Personnel Commission by
Gov. James B. Hunt Jr.
Mrs. Brewer is one of two
persons representing Business
and Industry and is the only
female on the Commission.
Mrs. Brewer has been with
Wachovia Bank & Trust for 13
years, working her way up to
her present position, which
she has been in for three and a
half years.
Mrs. Brewer is a tormer
member of the Board of
Trustees of the Charlotte
Nature Museum, is presently
a member of the Social
Planning Council of UCS,
Rosa Morris Chapter of OES,
and University Park Baptist
Church.
She and her husband,
Clement, live at 2809
Remington St., and have one
son, Clement A. 111.
UNCC Exhibit
To Display Color
o; Photography
An exhibit of color photo
graphy will be on display
through July 18 at the Univer
sity of North Carolina at Char
lotte. The exhibit, “Eliot Por
ter Retrospective,” is on loan
from the Western Association
of Art Museums.
The exhibit is composed of
40 photographs by photo
graphers, ornithologist, biolo
gist, conservationist, and au
thor, Eliot Porter. He has
exhibited in major museums
and has published several
books for the Sierra Club.
The exhibit is on display in
the Main Gallery of Cone
University Center. Hours are 8
a.m. to 5 p.m.
