Smith’s star women’s swim ming team member, ponders a moment smiles and ima gines herself in the locker room of the i960 Olympic Village after winning a gold medal. “That is definitely my goal,’’ said the smiling former Char lotte Post Beauty of the Week. “I would be so happy be cause that would be the ulti mate,” she added. Candice reflected on a gro wing controversey in the sports world for a moment as she answered the question, “What would you do if a male reporter came into the ladies locker room for your inter view? “If I had just won a medal, I would be thrilled,” she said. “I wouldn’t mind who came to interview me.” All I would have to do is to keep my clothes on until the interview was over,” she smiled.
