To Play In Shrine Bowl I Griffin Is Excited About Opportunity By Chase Vance Host Sports Writer Steve Broadus Griffin is very pleased and excited about being named to the North Carolina Shrine Bowl squad. "1 was very elated when 1 heard the news," Griffin remarked. "I was very excited. I had always triedf to play hard and do well enough so that I would be considered.” ^ "At the beginning of the year, I had no idea that I would make it,” he added "But as the year pro gressed, 1 began to think about it."
