Faculty Of Imagination Is
Spring
Of Human
Activity
The faculty of imagination
is the great spring of hu
man activity, and the
principal source of human
improvement. As it de
lights in presenting to the
mind scenes and charact
ers more perfect than those
which we are acquainted
with, it prevents us from
ever being completely sa
tisfied with our present
condition, or with our past
attainments, and engages
us continually in the pur
suit of some untried en
joyment, or of some ideal
excellence. Destroy this fa
culty, and the condition of
man will become as sta
tionary as that of the
brutes.
YOURS, MINE AND
OURS...Understanding
that images are the brood
of desire and endowed with
an unquenchable thirst for
perfection. Bob Curry,
financial planner for Mu
tual Benefit Life Insur
ance Company, spearhead
ed a birthday party that
was nothing but the truth.
The recent party was
given in honor of his dear
friend, Sam Jones, of Jones
Electrical Contracting,
Inc., and co-hosted by the
company’s personnel
According to Bob, Yours,
Mine and Ours was used to
house this function because
it is large enough to be
comfortable, yet small
enough to be intimate.
Included in the evenings’
itenerary was a fashion
show, featuring beautiful
bodies, showing off very
chic clothing, an abun
dance of food and music
that kept the pulse beating
to a good time.
Some of the guests who
helped to break-up the
place at Sam Jones’ birth
day party were: Cynthia
Bryant, Cynthia Williams,
Theresa Richardson, Fred
die Jones, Gwendolyn
Jones, Mary Jones, Katie
