Thursday, April 5, 1984 - THE CHARLOTTE POST - Page 19A Prophet’s Column “The Great White Throne Of Judgement Motorists Urged To Drive With Care In our last message we saw that God Almighty, the righteous Judge of all the Universe would sit on the Throne and judge in the final judgement. I hope you will follow my late pastor each Sunday morning at 7:30 over WAGI and at 8:00 over WAGL as he preaches God’s message for these last days from the Book of Revelation, The Book of Revelation is not a hard book to understand, neither is it to be afraid of. It was written to the servants of the Lord Jesus Christ. I want to make this state ment in the outset, get it; “The Bible was written for one person only, just one, that’s right.” It was not written so that everybody could understand it. No , it wasn’t. The Bible, which is the absolute eternal, un broken and verbally in spired Word of God was written for and to and only to the child of God. It is a love letter from my heavenly father to His child. If you are His child, it is written for you. There are groups writing books they call “bibles” which they say are writ ten so that everybody can understand it. Well, the only trouble with that is that the God of the Bible has nothing to do with the movement. In years gone by here I have made statements like these many times; “You can believe the Bible from cover to cover and yet go to Hell. You can go to Hell with the Bible in your hand,” When I have made those statements, the eyes of religious professors al most humped out. I know what I’m talking about. The Bible teaches that the devils believe and tremble. You say you believe but you don’t tremble, then the devils have more faith than you. Now, in this message, let us look at those who have to stand before God, the righteous Judge, to be judged. “And I saw the dead, SMALL and GREAT, stand before God;” “And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them,” (Rev. 20:11, 13). John said the small and great stood before God the Judge. You may be so poor that you are literally starv ing to death from lack of food. Your poverty doesn’t .I.M. Little cause he is the ‘hell and damnation’ preacher.” Well, you had better listen, for your poor lost soul right now is on the road to Hell, man! The fallen angels will be there to be judged also. “And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath re served in everlasting chains under darkness Unto the judgement of the great day. One-third of the an gels rebelled with Lucifer, the morning star, and fell with him. The other two- thirds kept their estate. So the fallen angels will be there to be judged also. The Great White Throne Judge ment will be a place of torment for the unsaved. You won’t be there in ease as you would in today’s courtroom. A thousand times no! In Mt. 8, a group of demon spirits, referred to as devils, asked the Lord, “What have we to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God? Art thou come hither to torment us before the time?” The demon spirits will be there to be judged also. All the lost will be ushered into the pre sence of a thrice holy and righteous Judge to answer tor all your ungodly deeds. Being in the presence of a righteous God with all your sins forgiven will make you totally miserable. Ther are no words in any hu man language to describe the misery you will endure there and shall thereafter forever and forever. In our next message, we will look at the things you will be judged for. My friends, now is the day of salvation. Tomorrow may be too late. If the Lord should come today would you be taken? Think seriously and ponder these things I am laying before you. THE GREAT WHITE THRONE JUDGE MENT. Raleigh - The North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) has scheduled the spring “Clean Up Litter Cam paign” tor April 8-14. NCDOT officials are urg ing all motorists to drive cautiously and be aware of extra pedestrians along the roadside who are partici pating in the clean up. State Transportation Se cretary William R. Rober son, Jr. noted, “The Clean- Up Litter Campaign con tinues to be an excellent opportunity to involve citi zens and focus their at tention on our roadside environment.” Roberson added, “With the 400th celebration ap proaching, this is a good chance to combine our ef forts in beautifying North Carolina’s roadsides before increasing numbers of visitors coming to our state for this important event.” Since the inception of the campaign in 1979, NCDOT, with the help of citizens across the state, has been responsible for removing 25,084 truckloads of litter from nearly 53,148 miles of the state’s highways. iUljlMilMil!! In life, like the rich man in Luke 16 did not have time for God’s ser vant, you were too busy with the affairs of the world and all your vain glory. You thought that you were secure in your position and wealth and honors placed on you by wordly men. But here at the judgement you will find, much to your utter amazement that you are on equal tooting with the poor man. You will be there, but your money and earthly power, so-called will have melted and van ished away. And there you stand stripped before a thrice holy God, with no thing. You will beg tor mer cy, but none shall be ot tered to you. Every indi vidual, human, angel, and demon spirit will be at this judgement. Adam and Eve were our first parents, they too will be there. The last human soul born on ’the earth will be there. The Lord saved our first pa rents there in the Garden eastward in Eden. A re ligious man said here in North Carolina several years ago, “That black man and Shelton are preaching that Adam was saved. Adam wasn’t saved.” Well, he showed his ignorance, didn’t he? Look at those words, “And the sea gave up the dead which were in it.” What does that mean? When God destroyed the earth with a flood (Gen. 6), millions of bodies perished in the waters that covered the earth. The great sci entists have never found those skeletons to this day. And you never will. But those millions who perhished in the flood, as well as all others who have died at sea, will be re surrected to stand before tbe Righteous Judge of all the Universe. We are dealing with a Sovereign God! Not some little tin soldier! You’ve often heard it said, “So and so died a violent death, it wasn’t meant for him to die like that.” Yes, it was, out of Christ you live a violent life. And according to the Seventh Psalm the instru ment of death is already prepared. But the body of every soul who died at sea and was not found will be resurrected to stand before the Judge, God Almighty. Friend, it’s repent now or to go Hell for your trouble.
