Lodato Post 8Uff Writer If you are one of the people who never got around to registering to vote, you are still entitled to vote in the presidential election. Federallaw man dates that every otherwise eligible citizen be allowed to cast a ballot for the nation’s highest office. This | applies to those who may have moved into the coun ty too recently to .have met restdency criteria, as well M to those _ who just haven’t bothered to regis ter, for whatever reason. The way you do this is to report to the Elections Office any time through November l.and cast your ballot then and there. P-S. While you’re at it, why not go ahead and re gister so you’ll be able to vote in future elections? If you will be unable to vote in person on Election Day, you can obtain an absentee ballot by mail through a near relative, or by the one-stop absentee prpeess. This must be done ''by November 1.
