Mr. and Mrs. Carl Springs .. ...Celebratewedding anniversary Springs Experience 25 Years Of Happiness For some, 25 years sound like a long time, while for others the years seem to have slipped by too fast. For Alice Springs and Carl Springs, 25 years has held both happiness in marriage and parent hood. “You just have to put the Lord in front of what you have to do. Follow God and trust each other. Always put the Lord in front,” Mrs. Springs stated. “Without God,” Mrs. Springs continued, “we could not have made it.” The young couple started their marrige in Concord. They were married aj Mrs. Springs’ home. I^ast week the couple repeated their vows at -the First Baptist Church in Concord with Rev. G. K. Moss officiating. They are the parents of two sons: Carl Springs Jr. and Stanley Springs. Mrs. Springs is a member of First Baptist Church, Concord, where she sings in the choir, is a member of the Pastor’s Aide and the Hos pitality Group. She also works with the Boy Scouts of America. She is employed at Duke Power as a Computer Operator. Springs is employed as a District Scout Executive for the Boy Scouts of America. He attends University Park Baptist Church where Rev. James Palmer pastors and is a .member of the Trustee Board. He is also on the Board of Directors of the Florence Crittenton Services of North Carolina. Both enjoy the hobby of fishing.
