The American Association of Black Women Entrepreneurs, Inc., a national trade association, win officially lnstaU the Charlotte Chap ter on January 11. Other offices of the Charlotte Chapter are Brenda Smith, vice president; Judy Daniels, recording secretary; Jean Henderson, cor responding secretary; Marilyn Wright, treasurer; Rosalind Rowe-Anderson, chaplain; and Frandna E. King, parliamentarian. Rose Marie Cotton, a U.S Small Business Administration represen tative in Charlotte, has been instru mental in assisting with the legal procedures in formulating the Char lotte group. The Association will move into Tennessee, culminating the mem bership drive at the nsHnnai con vention in Memphis, TN, during August, 1WS. King Holiday City government will observe Martin Luiber King Jr.’s birthday as a holiday on Tuesday, January 19. Monday-Thursday ' schedule and on Wednesday-Friday for residences regularly scheduled for Tuesday-Friday collection. Curb side trash and bagged leaves will be collected on the second day of each schedule, Thursday or Friday. The City Animal Control Division will be closed January IS. Only emergency cases will be bandied by calling 9944146. Recreation Centers operated by the Charlotte Parks and Recreation Department will be closed for the holiday.
