Church ISeum Briefs s °h Baptist Church To Honor Rev. And Mrs. Charles M. Booker Post Managing Editor Shiloh Baptist Church members will honor their pastor and first lady of the church March 3 during a 4 p m. worship service. Rev. and Mrs. Charles M. Booker have been the first family of the church for the past two years. Rev. Booker began pastoring the church on January of 1963. During that first year Shiloh ex perienced many great accomplish ments. "I have a vision that one day there will be a new church on the comer of Elim Street." Presently the entire congregational body is involved in working in the church and faithfully paying their tithes, the Bookers reported. In November of 1964 the church purchased more land next to the present Shiloh site. "We are hoping to have the new church completed by this fall,” Rev. Booker com mented "We are praying for this dream of ours to become a reality.” Rev. Booker, under the guidance of God has lead the members of Shiloh by preaching the truth and the inspiring Word of God. Shiloh Baptist Church members cordially invite the public to cele brate the anniversary of Rev. and Mrs. Booker.
