With this thought in t mind, students at Northside Chris 2 tian Academy were asked, “What r does Easter mean to you?” Here are ■ their responses. * VALERIE STURDIVANT, an * eighth grader, lives with her pa * rents, Curtis and Lorraine Stur * divant, on April Ridge Lane in ' Charlotte. To Valerie, Easter means * “Joy and happiness and pretty ’ colors.” Part of the Easter tradi 2 tion for Valerie’s family is a visit ‘ from relatives in Wades boro. » ROBBIE WEST is in the eleventh > grade. We usually ! go to church for a special Easter 1 sermon. Then we go to my grand father’s house in South Carolina.” TAMARA GRAY, of Ivy Hollow , Drive, is in the fourth grade. Her *. parents are Walter and Pat Gray. For Tamara, Easter means a time “for you to relax and think about • God and thank Him for everything He has given you. We go to church on ; Easter Sunday."
