And Mrs. Davis By Teresa Simmoot The Shiloh Institutional Baptist Church family will celebrate their eigtyh anniversary and appreciation day for their pastor and family, Rev. and Mrs. Tommy Q. pavis, beginning with a pre-anniversary and appreciation concert on Saturday, July 6 at 7 p.m. The McCullough Notes Choir of the United House of Prayer will render this year’s concert. Nationally known as one of the finest gospel church choirs in the country, the McCullough Notes Choir is in great demand to perform and has sung in many religious functions throughout the eastern states. Along with the McCullough Choir, « Shiloh institutional JA. Choir will render several selections at the beginning of the concert. Under the direction of Tommie ! Campbell, this choir also has. , established' itself 'as a most able * choir whose venality in music has thrilled the hearts of many during .' the past several yean. .. The celebration will continue with the regular Sunday morning worship , service July 7. James Samuel, pastor of Soldiers Memorial A.M.E. Zion Church to serve as campus ministers. Both are graduates of Livingstone College. Rev. Damon completed his graduate work at Hood Theological Seminary and Rev. Samuel completed his graduate work at the Duke University School of Divinity.
