W K«*« AHirtfht ....Carrousel Princess Keia Albright To Represent West Charlotte High Seventeen-year-old Keia Albright was recently chdsen, out of 18 contestants, as the IMS Carrousel Princess for West Charlotte High School. The competition consisted of • a casual wear division, formal wear division, and interview of lmprom ty questions. As the title holder, Keia Will participate In festivities on and dround Thanksgiving Day, specifi cally the Carrousel Parade. > “I’m very excited about being dween as the 1985 Carrousel Prin cess for West Charlotte,” say* £eia. “Since this prestigious honor has been placed upon me, I’m going to make Aery effort I can to represent West Chariotte in a way of Which everyone affiliated with my wool will be proud.” ; A senior at West Chariotte, Keia is 3 member of the Order of the Lion and the Keyettes, she is vice presi dent of ho- senior clan, a letter girl, and also a member of the Teen - Board of Freedom Mall. She works part-time a| Peebles in Freedom Mall. Her. hobby is traveling, having recently traveled to Spain, London, and Paris. , " '■ . Keia’s educational plan is to at tend UNC-G and major in account ing or business. ‘The daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Robert L. Albright, she is ai mem ber of Friendship Baptist Church. Included are the Founder's Day , Convocation, at II a.m., Friday, November |, in B. N. Duke Audi torium, for which Chancellor LeRoy T. Walker has announced a theme, “We Are Family”; the annual Homecoming Paradi* scheduled to Degin Saturday, November 2, at 8:30 a m. on Fayetteville St.; the Home coming Football Game against Bowie State College at 1:30 pm, Saturday, November *, at O'Kelly Stadium; an Alumni Hospitality and Coffee Hour after the game Satur day at the James E. Shepard Li brary; and the annual Alumni Homecoming Dance at 9 p.m. Saturday at the Raleigh Inn on U.S. Highway 70 East. Members of the classes of 1956 and 1965 also have special activities scheduled. Psychology graduates will meet after the game in room 311 of the Taylor Education Building for a reception. An alumni reception for geogra phy graduates is scheduled Friday, November 1.
